"Fireflies" 24x40 inches
In “Fireflies”, a raven perches beneath a dramatic orange sky on a warm summer evening. A massive cloud glows in the last light of the day, while a small illuminated cabin hints at human presence in the distance. Fireflies flicker among the tall grasses, bringing a subtle touch of magic to the landscape. Rich in atmosphere, warmth, and light, Fireflies captures the peaceful stillness of a summer sunset. A scene where you can almost hear the crickets chirping and the frogs calling in the distance.
This painting is my 100th painting of the year 2026.
ANTHROPOCENE COLLECTION
Anthropocene explores the growing presence of humanity and technology within the natural world.
Through atmospheric landscapes, illuminated cabins, towering wind turbines, endless power lines, and distant headlights, the series portrays a world quietly transformed by human activity. Soft, dramatic lighting and a touch of nostalgia bring poetry and stillness to these scenes, inviting viewers to reflect on the delicate relationship between nature and human progress.
