A 48 x 72 inches original artwork made of two 36x48 inches pannels. Top painting is acrylic on canvas, and the bottom one is mixed media with collage and embroidery. The top part, a symbol of perfectionism, is made up of 20,000 vertical lines, created compulsively and obsessively. In a way, it becomes brushstrokes that can be counted, a cartesian trace of the artist's intervention. The passage of time that can be named, quantified. Time in minutes, seconds, hours and years.

The bottom canvas, symbol of decomposition, is deconstructed as much as it is repaired and patched. Its half-rotten pallet wood frame and decayed, moldy-toned canvas are held together by desperate embroidery, in a desire not to let the past slip away. The time we feel. Traces. What's left. The symbiosis between the two. Obsession. Attachment.
